1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license to use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Use of Services
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel rentals, or restrict access at our sole discretion, including based on risk factors, prior rental behavior, fraud indicators, or internal evaluation systems.
3. Rental Agreement
All vehicle rentals are governed by a separate Rental Agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement shall control.
4. Payments & Charges
You agree to pay all charges associated with your rental, including but not limited to:

Tolls, tickets, and violations
Failure to pay may result in account suspension, collections, or legal action.
5. Vehicle Use & Responsibility
You agree to:

Operate the vehicle safely and lawfully

Not allow unauthorized drivers

Not misuse, damage, or neglect the vehicle

Return the vehicle in the agreed condition
You are fully responsible for any damage, loss, or misuse during your rental period.
6. RentFAX & Data Reporting
By using our services or renting a vehicle, you acknowledge and agree that:

Your rental activity may be recorded, including identity verification data, payment history, rental behavior, damages, incidents, disputes, and communications

This information may be stored and processed by Urban Rentals NYC and its affiliated platform, RentFAX

RentFAX may generate internal reports, risk insights, and behavioral summaries based on this data

Relevant data may be shared with participating rental operators within the RentFAX network for fraud prevention, risk assessment, and operational purposes
You understand and agree that:

RentFAX is a data and risk insight platform only

RentFAX does not approve or deny rental transactions

Each rental operator makes independent decisions
If you believe any information is inaccurate, you may submit a dispute request for review.
This section survives termination of your use of the Service.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:

Provide false or misleading information

Tamper with or disable tracking devices

Use vehicles for illegal activity

Damage or attempt to bypass systems or services

Engage in fraud or abuse of our platform
Violation of this section may result in termination of services and legal action.
8. Third-Party Services
Our services may include tools or services provided by third parties (such as payment processors or software platforms). We are not responsible for the operation or policies of third-party providers.

By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be used, stored, and shared for operational purposes, including rental tracking, fraud prevention, and risk assessment through affiliated systems such as RentFAX.
10. Errors & Service Availability
We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
All services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urban Rentals NYC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or use.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Urban Rentals NYC, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the services or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
All obligations and liabilities incurred prior to termination shall survive.
